Hi Don- Sorry for the late reply. The MSD 12's are fixed. We run 34 degrees lead, and I think we are on the high side compared to most of the other cars. We have 2 small odyssey PC680 batteries hooked up for 24v to turn the starter. We have no problems starting. We used to have them hooked up for 12v and really didn't have much issues then either, but we like the 24v better. We also have a small PC545 motorcycle battery under the nose.
