Hello Sue & Everyone at Sapphire Farms,
I want to wish you all the LUCK in the world!!! I'll definitely be cheering him on. He is one gorgeous boy, he'll do extremely well, no doubt.
Lily left on Saturday to start her halter training. I was so proud of her she did so well in the trailer, and when she got there it was like she had been there all her life. she settled in pretty quickly. she is one excellent baby.
I must say I wasn't as well as she was, my nerves were getting the best of me, but once I got there to see where she would be staying I felt so much better. I have never sent a horse to training and had no ideal what to expect.
I chose not to send her to the training center that we had talked about. I found another one called Triple R Training Center, Its about an hour and forty minutes from me. Its just a small training facility that's close enough that I can visit often, and the people that run it are just super. I know Lily is in good hands!!!!
Everyone there was really impressed on how pretty, and exotic Lily was for a ten month old baby. I feel so lucky that shes all mine. I think she'll do really well, she sure does have the brains and look for it, all she has to have is the attitude.
I'll keep you posted on how her training is going. Please keep us posted on Onyx Hopefully he'll have a safe trip, and do really well. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
Dainelle & Lily
P.S When are your mares due to have their babies? Can't wait to seem them to.
