i would guess if this is a recent picture that you have some sort of camellia sasanqua cultivar as to which i cant help you (japonica camellias are much more common in the northwest in the first place and cultivars are so numerous that it requires a more specialized knowledge than i have). you might try posting on the "gardenweb" forum devoted to the subject and get better/more helpful responses. good luck. i prefer reticulatas myself.
