for what its worth, an acacia listed as rubida that i got from cistus croaked at about 25f. here on the oregon coast. sunset garden book sez that a. retinodes is "the only acacia with a chance of survival in seattle if mild winters come four in a row" so at least as far as they are concerned thats the hardiest species.
