David.... It was about 6" tall when I stuck it in the ground "back in Ohio".....George is correct... it never did flower.... but it is the thought of Yeah It is at least possible to grow a banksia in much colder climates under the very best possible conditions.... Banksia Marginata.... I will have to check my Old records to see if a Provenance is given... Also i will be getting a High collection of B. marginata from 1,000m very soon here..... There is a few other ones you can try also.... George knows about them too.....
