That's why I mentioned it, in case anyone with more experience or resources expressed interest in it. My own yard is particularly deadly, and the spores are all over the air here. Lately I'm trying Trichoderma to combat fungal diseases in fungus-susceptible plants. It's a fungus itself, but fairly harmless, and perhaps it competes with other fungii. It's been used in places like Thailand for growing Vireya Rhododendrons, which are susceptible to Phytophthora.
