Thanks Jim for including the pictures of several hebes in Washington D.C. I've been interested in growing hebes and it's great to see that they can indeed be grown on the East Coast. It's been a tough winter here in the East so if the photos were taken recently it's understandable that the hebes would look ragged. Obviously they are left unprotected. In my garden I would have them well protected in winter. My garden iss strictly 3 season. Winter is too harsh in SE PA to leave SH plants unprotected.
