Sounds like this might be similar to wisteria, which won't flower for many years from seed, but grafts will in just a year or two. So no big deal. Just for future reference, I guess this is one that would be best prop'd from cuttings, assuming cuttings would work okay, (looks like a shrub that would be fairly easy from semi-hard cuttings, early fall-ish). Might produce saleable sized plants with flowers then. Without flowers, the plant is still kinda nice, tho maybe only to a plant nerd like myself...
