I've thought for years that Ted Thompson (and frankly, Mike Sherman before him) over-valued the current roster as a whole. We've seen this over and over in the contracts certain guys have gotten (Cletidus Hunt, A.J. Hawk, Mike Daniels most thought was overpaid, even look at Clay Matthews who hasn't been worth that level of contract for quite a while). I think BB is more like Ron Wolf in that respect - "You're only here for as long as it takes us to find someone to replace you." I think that kind of turnover really helps. It keeps guys on their toes, and keeps the competition for roster spots high. Players in New England know that if their performance drops off, they'll be looking for a new job. I question whether players in Green Bay have that same (IMO Healthy) fear.
