Hey, we're interested in you, we're not going to draft a RB in the first two days and want you to then sign you... etc.
Every so often, an UDFA will state that's one way the Packers gain trust with them (and therefore the reason they signed with the Packers over another interested team)... because many teams told them what they "planned" to do at the position/pick... and the other team didn't stick to their plan, while the Packers stuck with their plan. So the UDFA trusted the Packers more (also the other team drafted more players at the position, meaning they might have a better shot at making the Packers roster).
