But in the scouting reports one of his weaknesses is having a difficult time turning and location the ball, that is a HUGE red flag for me, that and they talk about him being mechanical in transition.
To go with that difficulty turning and locating the ball he gets grabby.
I just think if it is going to be a CB at #29 you can make a better pick.
I still like Awuzie more. But that is because of his flexibility to play in multiple roles.
White from LSU too.
Moreau in the second, Jones has dropped to the third in a lot of places. Sutton in the 3rd also.
Conley has dropped in some rankings, Awuzie has gone up, White also.
Two things I want to see in a CB, a really fluid transition and closing speed.
You add the ability to play both sides and then nickel and safety you have a lot of value.
Right now I think you have more room to get a good CB through multiple rounds then a top OLB.
OLB In the first and CB later. I would not be unhappy with a CB in the first at all, but I think you can get a better edge guy that first pick. And a better CB then OLB later.
