My biggest problem is there is no Packers news other than the shitty Bennett story. And the Packers have two open roster spots (Bennett released and Bulaga IRed soon) so there should be a move!
But back on subject; I honestly hate the media when ever there is something popular controversial item about a QB... because they can't get enough talking about it.
So far the Crappernick story hasn't gotten to me as much as the Teboner Mania did (seriously I timed out a 60 min BSPN TV show (not counting commercials) and they spend 35 mins on Tebow, 20 mins on other QBs and 5 mins on non-QBs) that's some lazy @$$ work BSPN.
But for Kaepernick, the NFL works in a very basic pattern... when someone does something extremely controversial,
1) Your NFL team either sticks with you or fires you (the 49ers stuck with Kaepernick, and he used an option in his contract to opt out, thinking new place would help (WRONG))
2) If your a FA during the controversial, they avoid you at all cost until the thing blows over! (assuming you still have talent, which I argue is why Ray Rice never got resigned, his body was basically done that last year he was playing, he was NOT the same player)
BUT NOW) We're in a new situation where because of the actions of others... it's NOT BLOWING OVER (at least not yet)... which is why he's not signed. Which sorta makes it kinda ironic, because some of the actions that aren't letting it blow over, are the same as those calling for Kaepernick to be signed.
