I'm not a big Wisconsin follower, but once in a while I'll still talk about the last time Wisconsin faced Miami in a Bowl game... when talking about how weather can change things.
Wisconsin vs Miami in the Champs Sports Bowl on the "neutral field" of Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
Miami was talking shit all week leading up to the game about how their speed and the Florida heat would wear Wisconsin out and they were going to have a huge game.
But a cold front moved in... "the game time temperature was only about 40 degrees. Most Miami players wore long sleeves and would stand by heaters on the sidelines, however almost all Wisconsin players wore short sleeves and stated prior to the game that it felt like spring."... and they pushed and shoved Miami around all game long... they only won by 6 on the scoreboard, but it felt like a lot more watching it.
