Linebacker, Pass Rushing Linebacker.
Edmonds and Davenport to me with what the new D.C. has said he wants to keep the QB quessing make the most sense.
I still think Davenport has the most upside and with strength he can play OLB, DE and maybe slide inside on the Dline.
Edmonds has a different combination with ILB /OLB both are the kind of player the team needs.
Key is another Edge guy that has to be looked at. But we have discussed him pretty well.
I am not a Landry fan.
Second round you can get pretty much what ever your looking for as far as position but most of my mocks have a TE at 45.
And quite a few of them I took another TE even as early as the comp third.
With the current TE situation if you can get two of the best TE's in the draft in the 2nd and 3rd I'd do it.
Next I look at Oline, but that also depends on how the team feels about last years draft picks and Murphy, Spriggs do you need to in the third and fourth. Or later?
Speed at WR and QB are also have to adds to me. For all of those picks in the 3rd to the fifth are depends on who's there picks, those positions, but you might not be able to pass up a OT over getting WR or the other way around.
Players I think will have the most effect on the draft that are all ready on the team.
Murphy, Spriggs, McCray, Yancey, Amachia, Clark, Pipkins, Gilbert, Odom, Adams, Biegel none of those players effect the first round pick and to me the second.
But after that they have a big role in need. Allowing BPA to be the driving force.
FA is the other thing that can and will make the needs change.
I am having a hard time thinking G will go wild. More active? Yes! Some big move? Not so much.
I do know this, with the picks the Packers have and advertised activity in FA the Packers are in a very good place.
