Is it true that this defense actually traces its roots back to Buddy Ryan and the 46 from the Chicago M-Fers? Thought I read that somewhere (may have been here)?
If true, I have really mixed feelings. On the one hand, I'd hate to give the Chicago fans anything to harp on (how our success came from using Chicago's old system)... but on the other hand, that WAS a hell of a defense - and it's the type I'd really like to see us running (aggressive, attacking, etc. - not sitting back waiting to get shredded).
