Well we knew they were going to sell at some point this off season, not they just need to find their new GM.
Also, that's nice money, though I read an article that made a great point, that the NFL was trying to put some conditional bonus in there, which would make the price tag look higher than it probably would be (because the bonus was unlikely). So I wonder if that's in this number or not.
That same article suggested, the NFL was doing that, in part because they thought they'd be having a lot of franchise being sold in the coming years, which surprised me. I wondered if it was due to old age of the owners, or why they thought their would be a number of franchises sold in the coming years.
