Reports are Bak has a sprained ankle, but if no set-backs happen, he should be ready to go by week 1.
This is the best breakdown I've seen of family night (of course I haven't fully read Yoop's post yet). But very interesting, sounds like QB Tim Boyle, WR Jake Kumerow and DT Adams really have everyone talking.
From what Yoop wrote.
From everything else I've read all the back-up OTs struggled.... also I'm finding it extremely interesting that I have read Murphy has been getting almost all the LT snaps and Spriggs is getting almost all the RT snaps... and MM early said he'd like to try to keep Murphy on the right side (which was clearly changed).
I'm just really wondering why it has changed... is it because they think Murphy is better and you want your best guy at LT? Or is it because they weren't certain about Bulaga and so giving their best guy Spriggs starter snaps?
Yeah I think they got a lot of interesting options at both WR and CB... they normally keep 6... I'm wondering if they might be keeping 7 at one or both. It'd might be tough on the roster but I think they could do it. Nice to hear about Herb Waters, he's been my underdog ever since the CB coach told fans to watch out for him, and that he could become like Tramon Williams.
But we keep hearing about the back-up pass rushers beat up on the back-up OL... which could mean our back-up pass rushers are really good or back-up OL are really bad. It will be very interesting to find out which against other teams.
