I have read just about every post since about mid game yesterday and there are so many theories as to why this team is where it is. Gents, we are overthinking this thing. This team has mediocre talent and Rodgers is not playing at an MVP level. I understand that is because he is playing hurt - and I applaud him for that. He is missing more throws than usual, holding onto the ball far too long and not sensing pass rushers as he did in the past. Part of that is also that his surrounding cast is just not that good. In my opinion, the only pro bowl caliber players on this team are Rodgers, Bakhtiari and Kenny Clark. Davante is close but lacks the game breaking speed to truly dominate a game. The rest of the skill position players are just guys. Defensively, I really do believe they look better than they have in a while but certainly still not a championship (or maybe even playoff) defense. After 5 games, I think we have the worst safety duo in the NFL. Not sure what Brice did in training camp to earn a starting job but I seriously don't see one thing he does well. Just awful. I hope these guys can develop into a good, young team but right now they are not. The NFC belongs to the Rams this year but maybe the Pack can scrape into the playoffs.
