I remember hearing one of the 'former coach' talking heads (don't forget which one) suggesting that Rodgers might NEVER be the guy he was before this most recent break. This talking head indicated that he'd had a QB who broke his non-throwing-side collarbone; it subsequently healed up and as soon as the QB got his throwing strength back, all was well. But then, same injury, almost the exact same type of break, only this time on the throwing shoulder. Healed up, but the QB could never throw right again - the break changed something mechanical, and it just was never the same.
REALLY hope that's not the case, but to be frank, I wish they had waited to make sure about his recovery from the injury before giving him an albatross contract...
But let's also remember: the break in 2013 was the non-throwing side, which meant Rodgers was able to start throwing a LOT sooner. Perhaps there's still some rehab going on/needed? They'd never admit such, but it's possible.
Just looking for reasons as to why one of the most accurate QB's in history suddenly can't hit the broad side of a barn...
