The only real difference now between 3-4 and 4-3 is the DE/ OLBís standing up.
Would the Packer personell be better suited to the 4-3 my vote is a NO.
For this discussion the 4-3 gives you less options from the front seven, in the 3-4 you can mix and match coverages with way more options then the 4-3.
Where the Pass Rush is coming from, who is covering, safety blitzís really any blitzĒs have far more options from the 3-4.
The change to 4-3 Clark can play Zero, Daniels 3, Lowry can play the 5 on on the Strong side and Perry the other side,
Matthews WSOLB and MartinezMLB, with Fackrell being your best choice for SSOLB.
To play Nickel , which at 60+% of the time you remove a linebacker. You lose a lot of options in coverage from the front.
And most importantly if your front four cannot create Pass lose even more options from the linebackers and DBís.
The change would need multiple DLinemen of a different type then they have now.
New Safeties without a doubt, but that is needed anyway.
I donít see the change being effective at all with the players the team has.
You donít draft players to fit the system for as long as the Packers have and make a change like that can have it work out of the box.
The Packers best option since Pettine is still the DC is not change course, but give him the fewer players needed to get the most out of his system, which does use parts of both the 3-4 and 4-3.
