I have no idea if this reports has good sources, but Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports the the first game of the NFL’s 100th season “likely” will be the Packers at the Bears.
If so the Packers at Bears would be the Thursday Night Season opener and the Super Bowl champs most likely would host Sunday Night Opener instead of Thursday Night.
Completely different sources, as I think this is just fans speculating, that the Packers will probably get a Thanksgiving Night Game... though again I think this is just pure speculation.
The Lions have hosted the Vikings and Bears twice since they last hosted the Packers on Thanksgiving Night in 2013...
Packers last had a Thanksgiving game in 2015 when they hosted the Bears
From 2007 to 2015 the Packers played in Thanksgiving Game every odd year... the NFL skipped over than in 2017 for some reason, but with road games against the Lions and Cowboys they could have another Thanksgiving game.
