In the Patriots offense and Rams is a smaller, quicker, faster agile Slot WR.
Crowder is a slot type WR, smaller even for a slot at 5-8 185# and not that fast or agile. Pretty goood returner though.
Other then playing in the system he doesnít offer anything special.
Edelman is a touch bigger, 6í 195#. It has really good 1.52 ten yard and incredible 3.92 short shuttle and 6.62 3 cone drill.
Edelman was a 7th round pick.
Just for comparison Brandin Cook was a first round pick #20 and not as quick as Edelman and both agility numbers are higher then Edelman.
Cooks numbers are really good but not as good.
What makes Edelman effective is his start stop ability, quickness, change of direction and body control. He leaves CBís standing in their socks time and time again.
The Packers donít have an Edelman type WR at this time. And I expect the team to get one.
One of the best in the 2019 draft is Marquise Brown Oklahoma.
Informative read on the Pats and agility. Whatís interesting is that Gute drafted or signed players with better agility numbers and really speed and quickness.
They have to be good football players first, but a good football player that is also a better athlete is a different deal.
