Now, I understand a players draft spot doesn't always reflect their skill. But the way I see it, Bosa is indeed the clear cut #1, but the differences between Allen, Burns, Ferril and Polite are pretty small IMO. Allen probably has the highest ceiling, Polite is probably the best pure pass-rusher, Burns is the most well-rounded, and Ferril is probably the best run-defender/has the highest floor. I have no problem with some of these guys going top 5 or in the 20s, but the difference between them is so minimal I'm surprised to see the gap in draft positions.
From there it's a bit of a drop and the debate gets a little bit interesting. Anthony Nelson, Montez Sweat, Chase Winovich, Oshane Ximines, Charles Omenihu, De'Andre Walker, etc. Some think MI DL Rashan Gerry can play EDGE but that'll largely depend on what he weighs in at the combine (I think he should play the 3 with his hand in the dirt).
