I know that Jones is going to sign with the Cowboys, if they will have him, and they will be light years better on offense because of it.
While I see the Packers offense being less dynamic and less effective with Jacobs.
I don't understand how the coaches, GM and fans can not see how Jones is one of those guys who tilts the field when he is on it. He is special.
Jones makes plays that other RB miss, he sees cutback lanes that they do not see and turns what 9 out of 10 RBs churn forward into a 3 to 5 yard gain in to a 10 or 15 yard run by taking an open cutback lane that others all seem to miss. That is something that seems not to be coachable.
Jacobs is a guy who will follow the play. Just watch him play against the Packers this past season. He was putrid. Just awful.
I hope he was cheap but I am thinking he was at least what Jones was signed for already that they wanted to come down from.
I think they just made a huge mistake.
I would rather have had them draft Wright, Lloyd, and Davis at RB or something like that and have them try to do what the WR room did last year!
Sheesh!
