1.25 S Nubin
Packers signed one Safety, but there is still another Safety hole and Gute has often grabbed two in off-season when needing to fill a role.
2.41 Edge Robinson
Packers have loved power rusher with strong hands, that's basically Robinson. And he can play DT in pass rush packages.
2.58 MLB Colson
There aren't many top MLBers in this draft, they're mostly weak side which are lighter coverage LBers like Walker more than MLB. Colson might be the top MLB, while not elite, he's smart and physically and can handle zone coverage.
3.88 Slot CB Jones
There were a number of CBs here, all lighter than Gute prefers, so I went with the one with the best run defense grade and Packers have a need in the slot.
3.91 OG Beebe
PFF seems to believe Beebe isn't athletic enough to be a top OG in the NFL, but he's smart and physically and you aren't powering him backwards.
4.126 DT Boyd
A number of DTs here, usually I think Gute would go with the big programs, but I like Boyd and they weren't able to slow him down at the East/West shine bowl.
5.169 RB/WR Tracy
Spent most of his career at WR, but got switched to RB his final year and he looked so amazingly nature there. He still needs a lot of coaching, but the guy has the potential to knife through defenses like crazy and he's a weapon as a receiver out of the backfield.
6.202 OL Wallace
Not the best physical potential, but he's technic is rock solid, could be a valuable backup or bottom starter if needed.
6.219 CB Harden
Great tackler, extremely aggressive, clearly best in zone coverage, want to avoid man coverage with him.
7.245 LB Gant
Smaller athletic versatile LB, that was at Ohio State with Hafley before transferring.
7.255 S Proctor
Mainly a STer until the final year, but it was a good final year, very good in run defense and should be a key STer.
