The Packers are going to draft OL this draft, but I bet the drafted players have a difficult time beating out the guys already on the team, no matter what round they are picked.
I remember when even first round OL draft picks were brought along slowly and given time to learn the techniques and get stronger before being thrown to the wolves was normal. OL were never expected to be major contributors their first year
in those days.
Which gives me a lot of hope for the guys the Packers have been putting in the time to try to develop and train in Tenuta, Jones and Telfort.
If you notice, all three of those guys are humongous human beings. Giants to you and me.
The Packers want to get bigger on the edge of the offense.
I have more hope for all three of those guys than I would in any rookie OL they pick, at least for this coming season
