2. Commanders take Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU. This will be a mistake by the Commanders, but betting markets have finally started aligning with what's been reported for about a month now.
3. Patriots take Drake Maye, QB, UNC. While I don't think Elliot wants to take a QB with his first ever pick as GM, but Maye is too good a prospect to pass up.
4. Cardinals take Marvin Harrison Jr, WR, Ohio State. Chalk
TRADE! Vikings trade picks 11, 23 and a 2025 first to move up to 5 with the Chargers
5. Vikings take JJ McCarthy, QB, Michigan. Chalk
6. Giants take Malik Nabers, WR, LSU. I'm half tempted to make this Rome Odunze, but Giants seem to prioritize speed at WR.
7. Titans take Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame. Chalk
8. Falcons take Laitu Latu, EDGE, UCLA. Betting markets have put Latu as the favorite to come off to Atlanta
TRADE! Saints trade 14 and a 2nd to move up to 9 with the Bears
9. Saints take Amerius Mims, OT, Georgia. Saints desperately need tackle help, they love to trade up, and the Bears desperately need to trade down for more picks
10. Jets take Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State. Jets get the best pass blocking OL in the class to protect Rodgers
11. Chargers take JC Lathem, OT, Alabama. Lathem is a mauler of a RT, Chargers desperately need a RT, and Jim Harbaugh wants to run the ball.
TRADE! Jaguars trade 17 and a 3rd to move up to 12 with the Broncos
12. Jaguars take Rome Odunze, WR, Washington. With Rome falling a bit further than expected, Jags jump at the opportunity. Broncos couldn't get one of the big 4 QBs so they move back.
13. Raiders take Talise Fuaga, OT, Oregon State. There's a lot of talk of Penix going 13 to Oakland, but I don't buy it. Fuaga is a perfect Raider.
14. Bears take Byron Murphy, IDL, Texas. There's a lot of smoke of Murphy going 9 to the Bears. But I think Chicago can trade back and still land their guy.
15. Colts take Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo. With the CBs taking a bigger slide than expected, Indy takes BPA and hopes to land a pass catcher in R2
TRADE! Steelers trade 20 and a 3rd to move up to 16 with the Seahawks.
16. Steelers take Troy Fautanu, OL, Washington. I could make a case Seattle, having Washington OC now on staff, staying and taking Fautanu. But Seattle likes to trade down and this is a deep OL class.
17. Broncos take Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia. This would be an ideal scenario for Denver. I love Bowers but given this scenario I don't know where he goes higher. Maybe the Bears at 14.
18. Bengals take Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama. Everyone is mocking OLs to Cincy but again with the CBs falling further than expected, Cincy takes advantage.
19. Rams take Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama. LA found success with Leonard Floyd so they go back to the well with an undersized, high upside EDGE.
20. Seattle takes Cooper DeJean, DB, Iowa. This one hurts. I'm not saying DeJean is Kyle Hamilton, but new Seahawks HC Mike McDonald saw what a defense can do with a unicorn player at the S position.
21. Dolphins take Jer'Zahn Newton, IDL, Illinois. This was the hardest pick to figure, but they just lost Christian Wilkins so they need a replacement.
22. Eagles take Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State. Philly likes to build through the trenches and Verse is too good of a value to pass up.
23. Chargers take Brian Thomas Jr, WR, LSU. LAs two biggest needs are RT and WR. So they trade back with the Vikings and land both.
24. Cowboys take Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma. Cowboys desperately need OT help so they take the best one on the board.
TRADE! Carolina trades picks 33 and 65 to Green Bay for picks 25 and 126.
25. Carolina takes Xavier Liggette, WR, South Carolina. There's been a TON of smoke of Liggette to Carolina. So Carolina moves ahead of division rival Tampa, along with Buffalo, Detroit and KC who all could take a WR.
26. Buccaneers take Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State. Chop is the last EDGE in this range before a big drop off. Tampa taks him knowing they can address IOL later.
TRADE! Washington trades picks 36 and a 3rd to move up to 27 with Arizona.
27. Commanders take Kingsley Sumatia, OT, BYU. There's a lot of smoke around Washington trading into the late 1st for an OT
28. Bills take Graham Barton, IOL, Duke. I'm not a believer Barton can play either tackle position so he slides a bit more than people think.
29. Lions take Kool-aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama. Detroit desperately needs corner help and Kool-aid is a great fit on a Dan Campbell team.
30. Ravens take Jackson Powers-Johnson, IOL, Oregon. I still think there's a chance JPJ goes R2 but Baltimore continues to invest in big hulking trench players.
31. 49ers take Jordan Morgan, OL, Arizona. Another team that desperately needs OL help.
32. Chiefs select AD Mitchell, WR, Texas. There's late smoke that Mitchell could be going higher than expected, but I still think his attitude issues drop him a bit. Put him in a situation like KC and he could thrive.
33. Packers select Darrius Robinson, DL, Missouri. Is he a big EDGE or is he a small IDL? I'm honestly not sure. But he's a bull rush specialist and a big bodied freak athlete. The kind of player that would make both Brian Gutekunst and Jeff Hafley happy.
For the record, I would not like this pick for Green Bay.
