If DeJean stays at corner, he's more of an off corner who's best with his eyes on the QB. He's a ball hawk who wins with anticipation. He could also be kicked inside as a big slot, or simply moved to Safety all together. Or he's a chess piece who gets moved around.
McKinstry is more of a press man corner who doesn't make a ton of splash plays because his tight coverage prevents QBs from throwing the ball his way. He's a high floor player.
One player has a high ceiling and could fill multiple needs. The other is a high floor who fills a singular, more valuable need.
