Here's what I found
- Jayden Reed and Dontavion Wicks both showed a lot of promise. But they have 790 and 550 yards respectively. Not terrible numbers, but not exactly WR1 numbers.
- Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave both showed a lot of promise. But they both had 350 yards. Not terrible, but not TE1 numbers.
- Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson both showed a lot of promise. But they've never exceeded 700 yards, and neither has 1,100+ career yards.
- The last time the Packers had a 1,000 yd pass catcher not named Davante Adams was Jordy Nelson in 2016. Before that, Jordy and Cobb both had 1,000+ in 2014.
Overall, the team is filled with promise, but no one guy has had a dominant season. So after all this, I have two questions?
Two questions:
1. Will the Packers have a 1,000 yard pass catcher in 2024?
2. Would it be disappointing if the Packers don't have a 1,000 pass catcher?
I'm curious what the board thinks.
