Abraham & Rebecca had a son, William Richard Furra, b. 14 Jan 1840, Fentress,,TN; d. 14 Oct 1922 Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches, TX,
and he married 5 Jun 1865 Nacogdoches, TX to Martha J. Rogers.(d/o Thomas N Rogers & Rhoda C Bird/Byrd. Thomas was the child of Enoch Rogers, b 1797 NC-d. 1870, Fulton GA. Enoch married Susannah Cunningham [b. 1797 SC; d. 1860 Forsyth, GA] and both are reported to have been Native American. You will need to verify this)
NOTE: Wm R. Furra served in the CSA, Co. B, 12th Regiment, Texas Infantry (Young's), Discharged as a Corporal (see "W.R. Furing")
William R. & Mary J. (Rogers) Furra had a son, William Thomas (also listed a Tell Thomas) b. 6 Dec 1870 , Linn Flatt, Nacogdoches Co., TX; d. 18 Jan 1955, Dresden, Navarro Co TX) who married Ann E ___.
