It seems that his first run in with the law occurred not long after we separated for the second time in late 1972. I am really interested to know if any divorce record has been located for his marriage to his first wife, Naomi Williams. As I mentioned, I was his second wife; married in March 1971 in North Richland Hills. I was a junior in high school and after school let out that year we moved in with Bo's sister, Donna, in Houston for several months (I thought she had a son while we were there). Their mother, Diane, then moved in too.
Bo and I moved back to Fort Worth and then separated sometime between Oct - Dec 1971. We lived together a total of 5-1/2 months. We reconciled sometime during the 3rd or 4th quarter of 1972 for 1-1/2 months and then separated for good. One of the main reasons I left was because of his dealing drugs. While speed was his usual drug of choice, by 1972 he was selling weed.
I saw Bo once in Houston after I moved to Houston in March 1973. Penny was about 2 years old. He said he was worried because he had found cigarette burns on her; that her mother abused her.
I found him in 1979 so we could divorce. He said he was also getting a divorce from Vicki and trying to get custody of his daughter. In other words, Bo married Vicki without divorcing me, so what would prevent him from marrying me and not divorcing Naomi?
Our divorce was 24 Apr 1979 in Harris County. Vicki & Bo's divorce was 11 May 1979 in Tarrant County. Bo married his 4th wife Deborah Oxford in Tarrant County 27 May 1979 and divorced her 11 Feb 1983 in Tarrant County.
Bo's life events elicits great sadness in me. I remember him as being caring, gentle and funny.
My main question here is did he ever legally divorce Naomi?
