Mid- Southern Illinois Bully Breed Club’s
2009 Spring Fling....
When: June 6th and 7th
Where: Jasper County Fairgrounds/Newton, Illinois
Details are still being worked out but we are planning a super-spectacular event this year...
List of events: ***UPF/IDWP sanctioned canine weight pull - 20$/dog day of event/ 15$/dog pre-registered. ( all breeds) Saturday and Sunday (Possibly part of the Triple Crown Series)
****Hang time contest, 12 $ day of event/ 10$ pre-registered. ( Saturday only- open to all breeds)
**** FUN American Pit Bull Terrier conformation show (classes ranging from 4mths - 5 + years Plus Best Brindle, Best Blue and Best Rednose). Prizes and trophies will be awarded to winners. All PUREBRED American Pit Bull Terriers eligible to compete. ED Winegarner is the tentative judge for this event. Registration Papers are not necessary. 12$ day of event/ 10$ pre-registered Saturday only
General Public events: ( open to all dogs) Ugliest pup, Ugliest dog, Cutest pup, Cutest dog, Best Trained, Best Trick, Best Dressed, Prettiest dog, 12$ day of event/ 10$ pre-registered ( Saturday only)
** GDT, CGC, and DHT testing possibly available in evening, AFTER the weight pull and general public events. **ALL dogs MUST pass obedience test before the DHT & GDT. Irondog charges 20$ for these test.
Hoping to have a lot of vendors and educational booths set up..
** On site TENT camping allowed, fires in grills ok,---- 5$ a night/ free if pre-registered **** Concession stand on site ***** 2- 50/50 raffles on Saturday ***One-time 2$ charge / per vehicle at gate
