Well I beleive a good time was had by all.Turkeyman, Mott, Griz,Nappy Hillbilly,& Kantuck, were down. Tn. Jim and Belinda were there early and had to leave Friday to go to Tee Toms Daughers Wedding. Loft Lady, Couz. Don and I camped behind them. Mark brought his little boy over Sunday. Another future Widowmaker. It rained a good bit but it stopped long enough to not interfere with the shooting. I helped run a group through the woods walk. The woods walk was not much shooting 9 shots and 6 of those were a paper target. Not everyone got to shoot at every target on the woods walk it's self. More situation than shooting. I did not like that. I still don't know how they scored that to make it fair. The smooth bore shoot was better. They had a good hawk and knife event and a good Archery shoot. They had a man and womans event. You had to pole a raft across the pond and shell corn and get back and throw eggs and potatos at a bear.LOL. Loft lady throws like a girl LOL. I am glad cause that means I would be very unlucky if she could hit me with an egg or potato LOL. The sun came out Sunday and we had dry canvas when we packed up. A big gust of wind came through Saturday night and one of my ropes broke and 1/2 my fly came down about 10:30. We got it back up in no time. The only damage was a 6" tear that I patched Sunday.
Nappy and Mott were wallering in the mud. I think lick cure was involved LOL and lots of it LOL.
They had a pumkin carving contest I took turkeymans rifle and went down on the range and shot a smiley face in mine and got second place LOL. My homne club the Hatchie Run longrifle will have there fall Rendezvous 23,24,25 of this month and it is always a good shoot. I hope the weather holds out.
