When I use powders, the amount is so small that I literally can't see where it falls after I blow it from my hand. And as for glitter, as I say in the essay, that's MY personal signature herb, it dosen't mean it has to be yours. And because glitter is possible to spot if you use too much, I only add a very small amount. I also try to use a color of glitter that won't be noticed. For example, the hallway carpet is green, so I use that color glitter out there. My apartment has hard wood floors, so I use gold glitter. You have to measure the amount of powder to the ratio of how many places you're going to blow it and how much you need. It can be a bit tricky at first because some people think "the more the better", when actually, the opposite is true. The whole point is to have a selection of herbs there that no one can see...unless they got down on their hands and knees and crawled into the corners that you put them in. You also have to make sure that the powder is extremely finely ground, and able to separate easily, so you aren't blowing little chunks of it around. As for cleaning them up. That's up to you. Right now my building, myself and a few neighbors in particular, are being systimaticaly harassed by both the owner of the building, and his newest inept landlord in an attempt to get us to move out. A little squirt who dosen't even look old enough to shave, never mind lift heavy objects, or do repairs And so far, everytime one of them does something to try and upset us ends up back firing in there face, because along with protection, I am returning their negative energy to them, with no malice or emotion. Simply giving them back something we do not wish to have in our building. Thankfully, they don't live here. So instead of upsetting us, they end up frustrated as to why no one seems bothered by their antics, some of which, are highly illegal. But, again, I use such a small amount that no one even sees it. I can't even see where it lands, I just use a tiny bit, spread it out on my hand, and give a mighty blow. Using water based one have there own unique benefits as well. I think I started with powders because there are a lot of electronic plugs in the corners of my apartment, and water and electricity don't mix! You see how often you change it, or stop using it depends on the situation. For example, if you want your home to have an inviting feeling, I would just blow a bit around, and replace it after my regular weekly cleaning. Some people change them monthly, others even leave them until Sabbats before they remove and change them. It's all a matter of preference. As well as using them for regular things, like making your home feel inviting, powders are great for temporary situations as well. Such as clearing away any energy left behind if you move into a new place, or if someone you don't really care for stayed over, and you want to clear their energy out. Then you just pick the ingredients and choose where you want to blow it. If they slept on your sofa, I'd blow it there, and leave it until the energy returns to normal.

Hi Sweetie! ![]()
Sage can be a bit chunky, so I mix it with salt so it breaks into smaller bits and separates better.
. Anyway, as they are purposely trying to try to get us to move out of the building, I put down more once a week, after the cleaning crew finish vacuuming and leave. I wait until late at night when everyone is asleep, I take a moment to center myself, say a little chant and blow it in the corners of every floor, and in front of the doors of everyone that needs protection.
But when I continued to use them, I found that they were extremely good at whatever I charged them to do. I'm by far, the poorest person in this building, but when ever the neighbors want to do something, it just goes without saying that they're coming here.
