Yeah...right. 2 people who've been together for 19 1/2 years, never dated anyone but each other, and have 2 apartments in the same building? Give me a break. And if that's not bad enough, he proposed to me 3 months before he passed away so we'd legally become married on our 20th anniversary. You should see the ring I'm wearing. It's a giant antique, yellow saffire that is exactly the size of a dime, and 1/2 and inch deep, in a beautiful setting. It belonged to his grandmother. Would you give a ring worth several thousand dollars to one of your buddies? Sorry, I'm a bit upset with them right now. As for computer error messages, that was the biggest problem, everytime we did any kind of test, it said that there wasn't anything wrong with the computer. And when I couldn't connect to the internet (I'm on Vista, which I HATE), it says "Do you want to see what the problem is?) I'd click yes, and it would say "Windows is running normally". So they just kept installing new mother boards and modems everytime I sent it back. I'm going to contact them, and request that due to the circumstances, they extend the warrenty on it for an additional 6 months...minimum. Because of all the problems, I lost an enormous amount of work. I made and entire section on meditation from the information I learned while I trained with a Yogi for the last 9 months. I just put the finishing touches on it, suddenly my computer shut down, restarted and not only was the page I was working on gone, but the entire folder! I even tried to see if they'd work on someone elses computer, but since everyone who get's Vista, automatically removes it and goes back to XP, because of how crappy Vista is, no one's computer could read the CD, DVD or floppy's I'd made. And as I'm typing this, I can see that the computer still has problems, because it's randomly highlighting things as the cursor passes over it, just like before, which made trying to copy and paste a particular paragraph very difficult. And has re started twice since I've been trying to post this. So this is the third time I've written this. When will the nightmare end? l Sigh....

Because of my limited budget, I've always been on a dial up plan. I've been with the same ISP ever since I got my first computer in the late 80's and I never got disconnected or had any problems whatsoever, until I got this computer.
He's a millionaire big shot lawyer, and I've emailed him countless times asking him to please give me my Husbands computer, and I will gladly send him this one. It's the most expensive $560.00, yet the crappiest computer I've ever had in my life! With regard to my Husbands belongings, there's some family issues going on since we weren't legally married. We had a handfasting ceramony, and both have apartments in this building, so they're trying to make it out like I'm just his good friend.
I obviously backed it, and everything else on my computer up, but when I tried to restore the computer to an earlier date, it did, but some of the folders (including that one) were missing. So I put the disk I backed up it, and some other stuff on, and the computer said the disk was corrupt. So I plugged in my external floppy drive, and tried to get it off of the disks (I'm a real back up nut). But the computer said the disks needed to be reformatted and I'd loose the information on them. So I lost everything, despite backing it up 3 different ways. I just couldn't believe it.
So I'm going to have to start from scratch...again.
