May I know how much RAM memory do you have and the internet speed you are running on currently. About Vista and ALL Microsoft products , they are all crappy and full of hidden and known dangers. We use Microsoft because we have no choice as most word processors are done using Microsoft and most programs suport Microsoft. May I know the brand of the CPU too ? There are many reasons why the network don't work but from the way you explained , it seemed that maybe the CPU yu currently have is problematic although after sending in for many inspections and none are found.
