First of all , I would suggest to manipulate the flowing circumstances to make that quarrel and backstab not to take place. I personally felt that clearing off energy wouldn't help much because even if you cleared off those energy , those fellows can create trouble and bring in those energy again. So I rather change the circumstances around them not to 'fight' against each other. It takes some practise as my previous post suggested to change circumstances.
I would suggest creating an entity for the sake of sitting there and ensuring that no one tries to find trouble. You may also ask the local Earth God or local Earth deity to look over the stuff going on. Let the local Earth God handle those stuff and it would be fine.
