I had my first heart attack at the age of 28 and have been dealing with conjestive heart failure and tachycardia arrythmia since then. I am now 36. I am also a solitary practicioner (relatively new to the craft) but would be willing to share what I've learned regarding taking medication. I have to take alot of it daily! For my daily meds, I simply take them as prescribed, and try to concentrate to the best of my ability on not only them doing their job, but also on them not creating the dreaded side effects. If side effects do happen to occure, and I am physically able, I will perform a small but effective candle ritual I came up with from taking small parts of other spells I've read about. I just simply light a black candle in the room I am in, name it whatever side effect I am experiencing, then speak banishment to the condition. It seems so small a thing to do, but for me it really works. I've been in bed and have used what small energy I had to do this and was up and about an hour later. Thank you for listening..and remember, I'm young in the craft so if you are thinking about this, maybe consult with someone more experienced. Dunno..hope it helps.
