I am also an eclectic witch, have only been studding traditional Wicca since late 98'. I was born & raised Greek Orthodox, (yes your really born into that) 
until the age of 12 when my family became born again, bible banging Christians.
In the years to follow, I must have gone to every Christian church there is until the late 80's, at that time I just considered myself "spiritual with my own relationship with my maker" (use to drive my family crazy because I wouldn't say God or call myself Christian)
the true Greek rebel.
My roots have always been pagan, we were raised that way as far as herbal remedies, candle magicks (the Greek Orthodox & Catholic church practice this without calling it that) 
creating sacred ground for gardening and honoring of the slaughter of fresh meat.
I embrace all paths of higher enlightenment and am glad I found home. I also feel as if I have barely scratched the surface of Her mysteries and have realized that its not what I know that makes me a witch, its what I am.
I have learned that I will never quit learning, so there is no hurry to try to learn everything, just keep on trucking on my path and Her mysteries will reveal them selfs as they are suppose to.
