"Understanding is the subtle intuitive knowing of the workings without fixation nor blind following." --Thotheolh
I love this quote. I'm writing it down in one of my books. I think everyone has spiritual dry spells. When I have dry spells and I am trying to get out of them, what comes to me is that I'm distracted by the outside world. I consider the distractions -- problems, chores, "one more thing added to my list of things to do this week". It can break my concentration. I'm sure Celeste had a lot of concentration breaking during her problems with the computer.
I believe that both of you are right. Thotheolh, that things come and go in their own time and you have to just "let them". So, I try not to let the distractions frustrate me and wait till they're gone. I also think what Celeste Moondancer does helps in the fact that it's routine. I find routine chores (laundry for example), do not take a lot of thought and skill -- therefore, I can "veg" out while doing it and actually have some productive thoughts.
