Hi and welcome, this would be a good question for Celeste, but I think she is still having computer problems. 
I'm in Texas so I'm not familiar with them, but what I have found with covens is that the sabbath's are usually open for visitors. Theres never any harm in asking, just call and ask if Ostara will be an open ritual this year and if you may meet with them about attending, the worst thing that could happen is for them to say no. Heck, after you meet with them, who knows, you might be the one saying no, but you will never know until you try it.
I understand being shy, I use to be the same way, well I've never been painfully shy, but I would get very nervous about having to go to new places or meet new people, sometimes to the point where I would throw up first.
Thats one of the reasons I picked Crystal for my magickal name, to help me shine from within and allow Goddess to take over to guide me, knowing that I'm doing Her work on this path. There are a lot of ways to do spells to help you overcome your shyness, if you need some direction on this, e-mail me and we can figure out the best one for you.
