I'm sorry I have to say this but, its important to respect your parents wishes if your living under their roof. I know thats not what you wanted to hear, but its the right thing to do. in the study of the craft, there is honor and respect, learning to adjust to different circumstances. there are many studies of self improvement and spiritual connection that you can do to help you on your path without it being a problem with your parents, thats where I would start. are you reading for yourself? I've been reading for 9 years now & for the public for 4 & still cant give myself an actuate reading, its so hard to disconnect emotionally from the situation to see all the energy and which way it can go, I do have a deck of Goddess oracle cards that I pull for myself because the cards come with detail on the energy so I cant manipulate the reading, 
may I ask how old you are?
