I love taking hot baths! When I can, I take them at night before I go to bed. I have trouble sleeping due to the pain. I add lavender candles and turn out the lights so all I have is the candle light. This is usually the time I try to meditate. My black cat likes to sit on the edge of the tub and play with the water. Sometimes, he likes to actually jump in the water and play with the light shadows on the wall. I like to spritz sage and cedarwood in my bedroom along with lavender to relax.
It's amazing, but since I started talking about it in this forum, I have found it easier to do the things i need to do to keep myself in the zone where I can do the regular daily things I need to do.
I start working with a physical therapist on Wednesday. I'm a Pisces and I love being in the water. Water aerobics at the Y has seemed to help a lot physically and mentally.
Thanks for all the wonderful advice. I'm going to add the cold water to my routine tonight. I could use smaller pores
