unless this was a VERY powerfull entity we are speaking of it would have no hold on anyone but the castor because of as was said before... free will. and i have heard in many places that diamonds are elemental protection and there you have your colored candles. but also i believe that you might have done this for pure protection. and that alone could prove that you will eventually find out who/ what this is and therefor know you need protection. and not to put anyone down but you must NEVER underestimate dreams. they are one of our most powerfull tools for divination.. i say go with what your instincts say but do be carefull.
