Is it possible to give a full account of what happened? Most strange phenomenons are simply the conception of the mind. We have an interest to believe in the unknown and even when the unknown isn't there, our minds like to spin up something. Most cases of mysterious sounds are simply the conception of the mind, not some otherworldly being trying to contact you.
