I can't help but share my excitement with someone. My dog doesn't talk back...which can be good at times 
. My roof is leaking, my dryer doesn't dry, my fridge and my oven stopped working and to top it all off, my car died. I know, not a great start to my day but it has all been building. The appliances are mine but the roof is up to my landlord. In order for me to look for replacements for my things, I needed to get my car fixed first.
I thought it may have just been my battery. That would be a nice simple and not too stressful fix. I dropped it off at Sears and decided to go people watching in the mall. Walking hasn't been easy for me lately and my physical therapy has been kicking my butt. I made myself walk anyway.
Getting to my point. I sat down to give my back a rest when this casually dressed man and professionally dressed woman came up to me. Complete strangers who wanted to talk to me. Unfortunately I have learned to be suspicious when strange people ask me questions. I thought I had done something wrong or they were going to ask me to try some new strange product. The man sais he wanted to give me something and I became even more sceptical. The woman said, "he thought you might be suspicious of some strange man coming up to you and he asked me to come with him. I work at the jewelry store behind you. He bought a necklace that came with an extra chain and he wants to give it to you."
They handed me an extremely delicate gold chain. I was completely flabbergasted! All I could do was say thank you! I'm still a little surprised that this actually happened. I'm not someone who gets handed things like that. I don't turn heads. I am completely ordinary looking.
So, I usually look for reasons why something like that happens. I called my brother. I ended up talking to his mother in law. It turns out my sister in law went into early labor. Every thing is fine but I wouldn't have called them if I hadn't been given the necklace. So maybe I'm reading to much into this but it's just one of those things thats just weird
Ok, so I'll stop rambling. I haven't heard anything new. I think she's still in labor and I can't sleep. My car only needed a new battery. I have a plan for replacing or fixing my appliances. My landlord will fix my roof and at least it's leaking in a room I really don't use. There is a good side to all things and bad things happen for a reason. It's just nice when people surprise you and do good things out of the blue. Today was a good day and I can't wait to hear good news about my new niece.
