Based on Celeste's post, I would suggest a book called Easy Enchantments by Lexa Rosean. It's a great little book of easy to do spells. It is very responsibly written. And, most of the required ingredients for any of the spells can be found in your kitchen or at a grocer.
I keep a copy of it on my shelf at all times. Even after years of practice, I still use it. A lot of the spells in my "Book of Shadows" are personal adaptations of the spellwork found in that book.
