I'm late to the subject, but just wanted to add we have those green bulbs in our house. I just wanted to mention that I saw on a website (can't remember where) that they contain mercury in them. They do not break easily, but if you happen to break one -- it said to leave the room so you don't breathe any of the toxins into your lungs. I've heard about toxic dust in the past from broken flourescent lights. I used to keep a dust mask at my desk at work (we live in earthquake area and it was always a concern to me). Just a safety precaution I wanted to pass on.
