What you said makes complete sense. I have actually noticed that I am seeing things threw different eyes, not reacting to situations in the same manner. I think one of the most noticeable things I've done was donate almost 3 quarters of all my possessions to various charities. One man would come by and pick my donations in grocery bags. In the end, it took him 4 months to get everything 
....and I still have more things to donate!
What I find odd is that I'd think that someone who got rid of that much stuff (and believe me, it wasn't junk) would either regret donating some things, or forget they did and look around the house for them. The biggest thing I noticed was that it was much easier for me to concentrate on things like my art and loved having more space and less clutter. That my stuff will help animals is just the icing on the cake.
If my tarot readings are any indication, other changes will include meeting people that are more on my wave length, so to speak, and some of them will be powerful in different ways.
Looking back, from last spring 'till now, I have experienced more changes in my life than I have in over 20 years! I can't wait to see what the future holds
