I'm joining this conversation late, but it's something I was wanting to discuss anyway.
As you all know, I am the epitome of a beginner right now and am looking for some reading material. I still have a lot to go on this site, but I'd like to have a solid book to carry with me, reference + read when I'm not at the computer.
My visit to the bookstore was met sadly with titles like 'Idiots Guide to Paganism' and others found under the 'Speculation' section. I'm not saying these are necessarily bad books, but I don't want my titles making fun of me
I'm looking for basic learning and practices in Paganism and Witchcarft, and trying to avoid going straight into anything more specified (Wicca, etc) just yet. So far my favorite I've come across is "Spirit of the Witch" by Raven Grimassi. Anyone read it, or have other suggestions of something that might be a good starting point?
